Happy Easter!

Update on the Neighborhood egg hunt...

920 eggs,
4 teens hiding eggs,
26 children hunting,
25 adults and teens watching,
over in minutes.....
priceless!

First year in the pouring rain...
all 51 were inside
opening eggs,
drinking coffee,
and munching on goodies.

Mud,
candy,
crumbs everywhere.

Truly an exhausting blast...
and I can't wait to do it again next year.

Today a nice quiet afternoon today at Grammy and Papa's house...

Mark is holding Carl, which is why he is laughing hysterically....Mark is 6 foot 6...so Carl has a ways to go....
Look closely, I think I'm shrinking! I'm wearing heels...and Carl is still taller than me....

Happy Easter Everyone!

  9. What a beautiful family! Thank you so much for your sweet comment about our little Stanley. The vet called to let me know that he's in surgery right now. I just keep praying for him.

  12. Wonderful Easter photos! And I hear you about the egg hunt! I put on an egg hunt for the kids in our city. It's a ton of work filling 1800 eggs, but the joy I get when I see all those kids scrambling to pick up eggs, I start thinking about the next year! Good for you for giving kids a wonderful childhood memory! And my oldest son is now the same height as I am. How did that happen so fast? I can't get over looking him in the eye. I know exactly how you feel!
